David Hein

David has been in the Background Screening Industry since 1993 as a business owner and working for large Background Screening Companies. In 2003 David helped establish the National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS) and went on to be the first Co-Chair. As Co-Chair, David was instrumental in laying the ground work for what is now the largest association in the world for the Background Screening Industry. His experience includes expanding service offerings, creating solutions and leveraging partnerships to create broader company strength in the Background Screening Industry and Human Capital arena. Areas of experience include Background Screening domestic and internationally, Drug Testing, I-9, Fingerprinting, Unemployment Screening, Employment Verification Outsourcing, Business Tax Incentives; WOTC, and W2 services. David has actively participated in executive sponsorship for large fortune 1000 companies and a top three non-profit organization to successfully execute target deliverables. David has had a past company referenced in the book “How to Succeed and Make Money with Your First Rental House” and authored several articles for the NAPBS, Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce, Gwinnett Daily News, and Exhibit City News.
Tom Cloys
(National Account Manager)
As National Account Manger, Tom is responsible for evaluating solutions for human resource practices from on boarding solutions; all the way through post employment. Tom has a proven track record helping Healthcare providers, Non-Profit, and Religious Institutions with a best practices solution to screening applicants. Tom began his career in the background screening industry on the International Screening side. Tom has worked with International clients as well as U.S. based companies with International presence helping them with their due diligence processes. Tom has a proven client services and consultation process that helps clients understand as well as insure best practices approach in the screening process. Tom is dedicated to giving clients the best customer service experience and provides clients with clarity, education and information necessary to make sound decisions in the hiring process. Key areas of service include knowledge and practical use of OIG, GSA sanctions, Safety 1st non-profit, ATS integration, i-9, e-verify, on-boarding flow, employment and education verification solutions and jurisdictional issues are some of the key areas of service. Tom is an member of the National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS) and an active member of First Baptist Church of Wood stock.
